Earlier this month, Cameron Hunter convened an educational wargame at the Leverhulme Centre for Humanity and Space at the University of Leicester. The event used experiential teaching methods to introduce a cross-disciplinary group of scholars to the tactical-operational detail of modern warfare, with a particular emphasis on the role of space technology.
The event supported Cameron’s ongoing research on wargames as rituals, and the concluding seminar discussion with the participants explored the emotional and symbolic aspects of the game.
