On 28 October Mariia Vladymyrova joined a panel discussion on climate and security nexus with Robin Sander (secori, Frankfurt am Main) und Julian Nelson Dannhof (DauHerkert, Stuttgart) organized by Netzwerk Außen- und Sicherheitspolitische Bildung e.V., a non-profit initiative of young professionals working in foreign and security affairs in Germany and Europe.
During the discussion, panelists identified current challenges climate change poses for industry, armed forces and political strategy-making. Together with the audience, they addressed the question of how climate change shapes operational enviroment and what implications it has for military and conflict prevention strategies worldwide.
