Thomas Fraise presented his work at the annual conference of the Danish Political Science Association (DPSA)

Thomas Fraise was the chair of a panel on “Issues on contemporary warfare” at the DPSA annual conference in Nyborg, on November 7th, 2024. In this panel, he presented his work on nuclear strategists as magicians in the early Cold war, arguing that the anthropological category of the “magician” is the one that captures best the social role and function of these experts in that period.
