Cameron Hunter delivers lectures at Japanese Command and Staff College and University of Tokyo

Cameron Hunter gave two talks in Tokyo during a trip to Asia for Ritual Deterrence fieldwork. The first talk was hosted by the Japanese Air Self Defense Force Command and Staff College. In attendance were mid-ranking officers from the Army, Air Force and Navy. Dr Hunter presented early findings from the US-China case study and exchanged views on deterrence with the JSDF personnel.
The second talk was held at the University of Tokyo, Security Studies Unit. The panel included Professors Iida and Heng from the host department, as well as a discussant from the Japanese Air Self Defense Force, Major Nakatani Hiroshi.
